1946-2018
Peacefully, in hospital with his family by his side, on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the age of 72.
Beloved husband to Cecilia Bowie (nee Cazabon). Loving father to Napoleon (Sarah), and Benjamin. Cherished grandfather to Ava, Olivia, Weston & Lillian. Dear son of late Irene (Ladouceur) & Cletus Bowie. He will be greatly missed by his brothers & sisters, Paul (Chris), Maureen (Paul), Sharon, Gary, Marie (Bob), Les (Karole) and his late brother Ronnie (Donna). As well as his brothers-in-law & his sisters-in-law Yvonne, Theresa, Annette, Marcel, Monique (Fred), Gerry (Gert), & Georgette (Dave) and his many nieces & nephews. Guy is a retired OC Transpo driver with 28 years of service, a member of St. Elizabeth Parish, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 485 & Council 1670. Friends may pay respects at the McEvoy & Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Rd., on Wednesday November 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will be holding prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Thursday at 11 am in St. Elizabeth Church, 1303 Leaside Avenue at Merivale Rd. Interment St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay, in the spring. The family want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during these difficult months. A sincere thank you to the staff at the QCH ALC unit for the loving care. In memoriams donations to Alzheimer Society, Bruyere Centre, QCH, or to St. Elizabeth Church would be appreciated.
