Entered into rest suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Gordon Carl Phillips, at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Brown) and dear father of Douglas (Christine Levesque) and Jennifer Phillips (Charles Bryan). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jackson Gordon Phillips, Juliana Phillips and Jenna and Serena Bryan. Gord was predeceased by his parents Mae (nee Hudson) and Carl Phillips.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Monday, September 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Tuesday, September 18th from 10 am until 11 am when a celebration of Gord’s life will be held in the chapel. Officers and members of Lyn Masonic Lodge No. 416 and sister lodges will gather for a memorial service on Monday at 6 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville, the Brockville and Area Food Bank, the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care or Cardiovascular Program, or to a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
