Obituary for Gordon Frederick Alexander Longe
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gord on Monday, December 24, 2018. Gord passed away at Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 45. Beloved son of Arie and Liz Van Ry and Wayne and Doris Longe. Survived by his brother Jason Longe (Tammie) and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Special thanks to the doctors and staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton General Hospital and the Regional Rehabilitation Centre. Also, special thanks to all of the family and friends who went out of their way to offer their support and assistance and to visit Gord during his lengthy stay in hospital.
Cremation has taken place. A service to honour Gord’s life will be held at Marshall Memorial United Church, 20 Gilbert Avenue, Ancaster, Ontario on January 11th, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
