ORIET, George Leo
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, and papa. Beloved husband of Adrienne (nee Schofield). Loving father of Paulette (Morley Latimer), Gisele O’Phee, Marc (Christine Baute), Ronald (Jennifer Jidas) and Diane (Rob Taylor). Cherished papa of Samantha, Lee, Paige, Jeremy, Olivia, Lauren, Logan and Violet. Predeceased by parents; Leo and Lauda (Renaud) Oriet and brothers; Paul (surviving wife Juliette), Omer (Cecile), Gerald (Sandra) and Aldor. George was a farmer in the community all his life and lived at his parents’ homestead. He was co-owner of Oriet Product Canning Factory, a member of the Tilbury Knights of Columbus and the Stoney Point Lion’s Club for many years. George enjoyed woodworking in his shop as a hobby and enjoyed travelling and spending time with family and friends. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and at Visitation Parish Church, Comber on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 10-10:45 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial commencing at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Visitation Parish Church Building Fund or Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
