DAMIANO, Mario George
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Monday December 3, 2018 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his beloved wife Maria (Di Biase). Loving father of Peter, Lisa (Edward), and Steven (Monica). Cherished nonno of Matthew and Alexander. Brother of the late Antonio and Albina Damiano, and Giovanni Damiano (Carmelina). Loving zio of Mena Matsos (Gus), Mary Casciani (Marino), Filomena Luciano and Maria Damiano. George will also be missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, sisters and brothers-in-law, and extended family in Canada, Italy and the United States. He was a caring man who always extended himself to others. George most enjoyed spending hours tending to his vegetable garden, sharing his harvest, and feeding his family. The family wishes to thank the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital for their caring and kindness. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON (905.527.0405) on Sunday, December 9, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 287 Plains Road East, Burlington on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations made to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
