MCMILLAN, GENNY (Durkin)
On Monday November 12, 2018, the world lost a beautiful light and gentle soul. Surrounded in love by her beloved husband Kevin McMillan, children and family, Genny passed into the arms of God. Loving and adored mother of Debbie (Derek Langdon), David Carriere (Caroline). Step-mother to Sara (Tom Valenzuela) and Gordon McMillan (Jennifer). Devoted and fun grandmother to Christopher, Courtney, Kaleigh, Allison, Alex, Tyler and Logan and great-grandmother to Chase. Cherished sister of William (Dale), Michael (Margo), Patrick (late Suzanne) and the late Judith and Mary Clermont. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, (6971 Bank Street between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-5 & 7-9 pm on Thursday November 15. Memorial Mass on Friday at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 5338 Bank St. at 11 am. Inurnment Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Catholic Education Foundation of Ottawa, c/o Ottawa Catholic School Board, 570 West Hunt Club Rd. Ottawa, On. K2G 3R4 cefottawa.ca/ would be appreciated. Although we are without her smile, we go on knowing she is forever among us.
