Obituary of Frank Heming
HEMING, Frank Bennetts
Co-founder of Heming Lawn & Garden Equipment Ltd. and long-time volunteer of the Buckhorn District Snowmobile Club, Buckhorn Community Centre, Buckhorn Community Care and member of St. Matthew – St. Aidan Church in Buckhorn.
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming in Peterborough on Saturday November 10th, 2018 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Heming. Dear Father of Scott Heming and his wife Donna from Buckhorn. Poppa will always be loved and remembered by Dena Heming (Rick Teasdale) and Drew Heming (Michelle) and great-granddaughter Lucy of Peterborough. Dear Brother to Bob (Mavis) of Guelph and will be missed by many Nieces and Nephews. Also remembered by his son-in-law Mike Landers. Predeceased by his Daughter Suzanne Landers, parents Katherine and Thomas, Brother Ogilvy and Sister Gwen. Frank had a love and passion for snowmobiling and purchased a brand-new snowmobile (an Arctic Cat of course) when he turned 80. You could also find him navigating the waters on his boat, The Unwinder or puttering around his property on Bald Lake in Buckhorn- anything that involved the outdoors. Frank and Betty were also fortunate to travel the world for many years. The family wish to thank the amazing staff of Creekside B at St. Joseph’s at Fleming. Donations in memory of Frank may be made to The Buckhorn Community Centre, St. Matthew – St. Aiden Church in Buckhorn or the Peterborough Humane Society. There will be a private family service following the interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. If desired, online condolences may be made at www.AshburnhamFuneral.ca
