Bud passed away peacefully October 17, 2018, with Margo his wife of almost 70 years at his side, at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital in Castor, Alberta, at the age of 91 years 361 days.
Bud was born October 21, 1926 the second child of Casey and Johanna Pals. He attended school at Willow Prairie until grade 9. For high school Bud went to Theresetta School in Castor. After graduation Bud attended Olds College and then S.A.I.T.
In 1948 he married the love of his life Margaret (Margo) Whitnack. To this union 7 children were born.
Bud is survived by his loving wife Margo and his children: Terry (Jim) Perry, Larry (Judith) Pals, Judy (Calvin) Bishell, Karen (Frans) Bouman, Philip (Shelly) Pals, Tim (Natalie) Pals and Russell (Audrey) Pals; 21 grandchildren and their families; 32 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; his sister Dianne (Ed) Bond; sisters-in law Esther Pals and Dorothy Whitnack; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins and a host of friends.
Bud was predeceased by his parents; older sister Dorothy; brother Ken; sister Pat and infant brother Donald.
Bud was dedicated to his family, his community and his beliefs.
