It is with great sadness that the family of the late Flora Mable Brake ( nee Crocker ) announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point, Nl. on Monday, September 17,2018 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Sandra ( Gordon ) Barnes of Trout River, Nl. Henry ( Ivernia ) Brake of Birchy Head, Nl. Verna ( George ) Kendall of North Carolina, Maurice ( Sharon ) Brake of Trout River, Nl. and Bill ( Angelica ) Brake of Trout River, Nl. Her grandchildren, Shawn ( Emily ) Barnes, Kelly ( Kenny ) Manuel, Bobbi Lynn Brake ( Patrick ), Tiffney Brake, Tara ( Craig ) Payne, Craig ( Debbie ) Brake, Mitch ( Kayla ), Scotty Brake ( Shawna ) Preston, Ozzie Brake, Hailey Brake, William, Brake, and Blane Payne, 14 great-grandchildren. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, extended family and friends. Flora was predeceased by her husband William Scott Brake, parents Winifred and Henry Crocker, special niece Vivian Parsons and also all her siblings. Visitation will take place on Thursday , September 20th,2018 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. at the Anglican Church in Trout River, where also the funeral service will take place on Friday at 2:00pm. with Decon Francis Elgar officiating.
