EPIFANO, Emma
Passed away at her home on Saturday November 17, 2018 at the age of 79
years. Beloved wife of Saverio Epifano. Dear mother of Cenza Epifano
(Phil Davie), Franca Epifano (Steve De Smedt), Danny Epifano (Caroline
Epifano). Nonna of Jordan, Felicia, Brianne and Natasha. Survived by
her sister Maria Saturno (Elvezio), Julia Romano-Wilkinson (John).
Emma was a loving wife, mother, nonna, sister and friend. Her
unconditional love for her husband, family and friends was known and
felt by all. She always found joy in life’s simple pleasures.
Her kitchen was the heart of her home where family was always welcome
and gathered to enjoy her wonderful Italian cooking with a glass of
homemade vino. She truly was a woman with a heart of gold who touched
the lives of those who knew her. She will never be forgotten but
forever missed. The Epifano family would like to thank Rosewell
Cancer Centre in Buffalo, N.Y., Toronto Western, Princess Margaret,
Juravinski and Cambridge Memorial. Dr. Sara Hahn and all Personal
Caregivers, especially Nancy Barros for all their care and support.
Also, Mobility in Motion for their services. Lastly, a special thank
you to all who supported Emma and her family through her journey. The
family will receive friends at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street,
N, Cambridge on Tuesday November 20, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose R. C. Church, 210 South
Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 11 am.
Entombment to follow at Marymount Catholic Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario.
