Forever In Our Hearts
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Emeline Carty on Friday, March 9, 2018 at her residence in Brampton at the age of 87. Born in Limetree Garden, St. Ann, Jamaica predeceased by her husband Claudius (1987). Emeline was a devoted mother to Angela, Sharon (Marlon) and Hal and loving grandmother of Mark, Jordan and Sierra. She is predeceased by siblings Dunfield (Cleveland), Joe, Son, John, Ivy, Tatan (Lamuel), Clover, Lester, Frankie and Roland (Rupert). She will be missed by her brother and sister, Ted and Winnifred. Her generosity and kindness has blessed many. She will be missed by friends, family and strangers who had an opportunity to experience her hospitality and tasty cooking at her home in Caledon.
Visitation to be held at the Glendale Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 21st from 6-9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 22nd from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 24th at 10:00 a.m. from North Bramalea United Church, 363 Howden Blvd. in Brampton. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the commencement of the service. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Reception to be held at the North Bramalea United Church.
