Elizabeth Gibson Keith
1928-2018
Elizabeth Gibson Keith, of Havelock,
passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Born in
Havelock, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth
(Gibson) Templeton and widow of Charles Keith.
Elizabeth was a member of the Havelock
Women’s Institute and Havelock UCW as well as past school
board member. She enjoyed flower gardens, reading and crossword
puzzles. She loved her family, and enjoyed playing cards with her
grandchildren, and going on trips with her sisters.
She is survived and sadly
missed by her daughter, Virginia Keith; sons, Charles (Victoria) and
Robert (Melissa) all of Havelock; two sisters, Margaret Wood of
Fredericton and Mary Coates of Shediac; brother, James Templeton
(Myrna) of Sus Corner; sister in-law, Gertrude Templeton of
Havelock; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Mark Estey), Joanna (Daniel
Mort), Dr. Melissa, Emmett, Rory and Meren Keith; two
great-grandchildren, Jonah and Logan Estey; several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her husband, Elizabeth
was predeceased by three brothers, David, John and Robert
Templeton.
Arrangements in care of Salisbury
Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800) with no service by request.
Interment will take place at Greenhill Cemetery, Havelock, at a later
date. If desired, memorials to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital, or
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
