Passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge, Whitby on Thursday October 18th, 2018 at the age of 88.
Loving husband of Rita (nee Heffernan) for 61 years. Much loved dad of Sharon Walsh and her husband Mark of Collingwood and Linda Munro and her husband Lorne Johnson of Burlington.
Grandfather of Samantha, Brook, Alex and Grace. Predeceased by his brother Norman. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Tuesday October 23rd from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service in the Barnes Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. Following the interment family and friends are invited to a reception being held at the Funeral Home.
Edward’s family want to thank the staff of Fairview Lodge for their kindness and compassion, particularly in his final days.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
