Earl Everett Hare
September 05, 1945 – April 18, 2018
HARE, Earl Everett-Dartmouth Son of the late Cleve and Elma Hare (Minto, New Brunswick) passed away April 18, 2018. Earl was predeceased by his wife of 26 years, Norma Hare (Branscombe) and survived by their five children Charman Cross (Raymond), Belinda Adams (Wayne), Nicole Murray (Steve), Michelle Mobarrez (Houman) and Jason Hare (Tracy). Earl is survived by his wife Marilyn and their two sons, Tom Arnold (Heather) and Sidney Arnold (Jen) as well as his two sisters, Janice Steeves (Keith) and Donna Cormier (Ernie), 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Earl was an active member of the Somme Branch Royal Canadian Legion # 31 and the Dartmouth Buffalo Club where he enjoyed playing darts with his many friends. He and Marilyn are well known in the community for their kindness and generosity. Earl was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need or to offer some of his homemade soup for comfort or support.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dartmouth Buffalo Club, 2 Wentworth Street. In his memory, all are encouraged to always seek out opportunities to show kindness and generosity in their community. “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine you did for me.” Matthew 25:35 and 40
