E. Audrey ‘s Obituary
SIBBINS, E. Audrey – Age 90, of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton, on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Born in Graywood, Annapolis Co., Audrey was the daughter of the late Harris and Daisy (Wright) Sibbins. At age 21, Audrey was afflicted with polio. Treatments and her strength of character enabled to eventually walk and engage in many interesting activities. After attending secretarial school, Audrey worked at Cornwallis Naval Base and later taught school in Annapolis Royal. During her working years, she was also assisting her aging parents. Audrey was always ready to share that her faith in God sustained her, and that the future should be faced without worrying about tomorrow. In addition to her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her siblings, Zella (Carl) Pearson, Gerald Sibbins, Vernon (Myra) Sibbins, twins, Lottie & Luella Sibbins, Harry Sibbins, Minerva (Oscar) Hendell, Winnett (Naomi) Sibbins, Lewis (Marjorie) Sibbins, Rose (Frank) Legge, Merton (Ethel) Sibbins, Elsie (Lauris) Moore, and Eda Dondale. There will be no visitation. A memorial service for Audrey will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, in Berwick Baptist Church, 265 Commercial St., Berwick, Rev. Evan Colford officiating, with a reception to follow. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. on the same day in Graywood Community Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of your choice.
