Obituary for
Dr. Colin Lythgoe
1931-2018
Passed away on April 24, 2018 with his family by his side. He leaves his beloved wife, Paddie Lythgoe and his five Children, Maria (Brian Oliver), Elizabeth (Barry Baynes), James, Andrew and Kate and five grandchildren, Nathan Baynes (Jennah Baynes), Tom Baynes (Brian Johnson), Julia Oliver (Matt Whelen), Peter Oliver and Gabrielle Oliver and two great grandchildren Benjamin and Avery Baynes and a great grandchild by choice, Oliver Johnson. He was a well- loved physician who practiced Ophthalmology in New Brunswick between 1973 and 2008. We were privileged to have him in our lives and he will be missed immensely. Thank you to the staff at the Ottawa Heart Institute and the staff of the Ottawa Hospital both the Civic and General Campus. Special thanks and appreciation to the staff of Villagia in the Glebe Residence. Friends are invited to the Villagia in the Glebe, 480 Metcalfe Street in the Ballroom on May 3rd from 12:30pm until a Celebration of Dr. Lythgoe’s life at 1:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to CNIB would be appreciated.
