Forever missed & always remembered
It is with deep regret, Dorothy « Arlene » Sarson, born of John and Doreen Phalen on April 17th, 1957, in Springhill, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the CRHCC in Amherst, Nova Scotia on October 21st, 2018.
Arlene moved to Montreal then Calgary and retired from Calgary Co-op after 35 years where she made many lifelong friendships. She retired back to Nova Scotia with her husband Burton Sarson.
Arlene was happily married to Burton for 33 years. They made each other laugh every day.
Her incredible giving and beautiful spirit touched the lives of all of her family and friends.
Arlene is survived by her husband Burton, and children Phil (Julie) and Melissa (Kevin), and step-children Donny and Michelle. Mother Doreen, and siblings Pat Phalen (Mary Lou) and Jennifer Boyce (Grant), Mother in-law Eileen Young, sisters-in-law Sharene Young and Shelley Boudreaux (Darren), many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Arlene was pre-deceased by her father John Phalen.
Visiting will be held on Thursday October 25th, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00pm with a funeral service and reception at 2:00pm with Deacon Howard Gotell officiating all in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St, Amherst NS, 902-667-9906.
Internment will take place at a later date.
