Robbins, Dawn Robbins – 55, Fox Harbour, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Dawn lost her hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer but never lost her tremendous sense of humor. Born in Pugwash she was a daughter of the late H. Doreen (Jamieson) Pollard. Dawn was a loving daughter, wife, mother and sister. After raising her family she went back to school and received her CCA certificate and worked at Cedarstone Enhanced Care in Truro. Later she went to work for Canada Post and spent the next 15 years working at the Truro office. Surviving are her husband, James Robbins, Fox Harbour; sons, Corey James (Stephanie), Saint John, N.B.; Adam Joseph Day (Tee), Porters Lake; daughter, Haley Allysa Dawn, Fox Harbour; sisters, Valerie (Jack) Cook, Pugwash; Eleanor (Ron) Langille, Fox Harbour; Debbie (Ross) MacKay, Fox Harbour; Brenda (James) McKenzie, Trenton, Ont.; father-in-law, Wendell Robbins, Truro; sister’s-in-law, Anita (Jack) Wilson, North River; Laura Reid (Allan Gorman), Truro; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her mother she was predeceased by her nephew, Andrew Langille; mother-in-law, Gail; brother-in-law, Marty Robbins. In keeping with Dawn’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to any charity.
