David Kenneth Bennett
David K. Bennett, 49, of Moncton,
passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his
loving family, on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Born in Halifax, Nova
Scotia, he was the son of the late Myron L. Bennett and Caroline
Snow.
David was a Surveyor with Numeris,
where he will be greatly missed by all of his co-workers. He
loved to eat and enjoyed a good meal, gaming, hunting and
fishing.
David will be sadly missed by his
spouse, Joanne Oakes; daughter, Brittany Oakes; son, Taylor Robertson;
sisters, Diane Bennett-Norman, Vickie Gray and Caroline Pushie, all of
Halifax, NS and Charlene Cleveland of Moncton; several nieces, nephews
and extended family members. He will also be sadly missed by all of
his fur babies. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his
brother, Myron « Dan » Bennett (November
2010).
The family would like to thank the
doctors, nurses and staff of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at The
Moncton Hospital for the excellent care given to David during his
stay.
A Service to celebrate and honour
David’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, January 18, 2018
at 1:30 pm. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following
the service.
