Clarina Marie Fournier (Gauthier)
FOURNIER, Clarina Marie – Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital Extended Care Unit on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Donat Fournier. Loving mother of Alain (Diane), Louise (Denis) and Denis (Lorie). Cherished grandmother of Steve, Stephanie, Daniel and Brian, great-grandmother of Alicia, Steve Jr., Karissa, Célèste, Davyn, Briar and Jessa and great-great-grandmother of Bentley, Ashaya and Amaya. Dear sister of Antonio (Graciel) and Victor (late Lucille) and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Joachim Gauthier and Antoinette Tardif and her brothers Louis (Albertine), Robert (Anita), Adrien and Benoit. Clarina loved spending time with her family and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Niagara Health Foundation – Extended Care Unit, Welland Hospital, with cards available at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the people who cared for Clarina while she was still in her home, as well as the excellent staff at the ECU, Welland Hospital for the wonderful care and support they showed to their mother.
