Obituary of Clarice Petruka
Petruka, Clarice – (b. Mandziak, May 25, 1923)
On July 17, 2018, surrounded by family and in the caring hands of the Palliative Care team at the Brantford General Hospital, Clarice left this world to be reunited with her husband Stanley (1923 – 1983) and predeceased family and friends. Clarice lived a full and busy life. She will be greatly missed by her four daughters and sons-in-law: Joanne and Allan Carver; Rita and Bob McIntyre; Mona and Richard Campbell; and Dale and Paul Schoffro. With all her heart, she loved her seven grandchildren and their spouses: Darren and Jennifer McIntyre; Jason and Lisa Carver; Patricia and Chris Butters; Tiffany and Sang Tran; Stefanie and Steve Heinbuch; Melissa and Brad Van Gerven; and Ben Schoffro. She was very proud of her great grandchildren: Jacob and Andy McIntyre; Cara and Cameron Carver; Lauren, Avery, and Lindsey Butters; Jack Tran; and Riley Van Gerven. Clarice was an exemplary role model as a mother, grandmother, and business woman. She will be remembered for her healthy lifestyle that included daily walks and exercise, lots of veggies, love of family, and a belief in the power of prayer and going to church on Sundays. We will truly miss her smile, laugh, perogies, wise advice, singing, listening ear and friendship. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME.
