At St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Sunday December 9, 2018. Born in Aberfeldy, Euphemia Township, BETTY LOREEN (ARMSTRONG) LUCKINS, December 23, 1931. Beloved wife of Alvin Luckins of 67 years. Loving mother of Cathy Luckins. Special grandma to Shawna Beck (Danny Ray) and Kirstin Luckins (Jamie Crossett) and great-grandmother to Ethan Beck, Carter and James Crossett. Betty is survived by her sister Dorothy McCormick and brother Gary Armstrong (Cheryl), sister-in-law Ann Armstrong, brother-in-law Tom Tasker and sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Jim Mason. Predeceased by parents Everest and Alta Armstrong, sons John (1955) and Albert Luckins (1979), sisters Gert Goodall (Mel), Fern Tasker and Loretta Armstrong. Brothers Gordon (Laura), Calvin and Lloyd Armstrong. Sisters and brothers-in-law Carol Sharon (George), Margaret Brownlee (Chuck), Marion Norman and Lloyd McCormick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE where private family services will be held on Thursday December 13th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from noon until service time. Interment will follow at Blackwell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice.
