Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Palliative Care unit after a courageous battle with cancer, Barry (Dickie) Reardon, age 53 years. Predeceased by his sister Karen (Reardon) Murphy (2005). Leaving to mourn with precious and fond memories his parents William and Rose Reardon; brother Billy; sister-in-law Connie and niece Heather; brother-in-law Robert Murphy, nephew Ryan and niece Jennifer. Special cousin and best friend Stephen Bishop and special aunt Brenda Dwyer – both always have been there. Special friends Ken and Judy Samson, Gary Pardy, Johnny Power and Derm Powell. As well as a large circle of friends and relatives, including all his friends at Placentia Junction and the MUN Dining Hall. Special thanks to all the doctors and staff at the Cancer Clinic and Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Centre, Carmel Collins and Robert Neville Jr. for all their help and kindness. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road, on Wednesday from 7-9pm and Thursday 10am-9pm. Funeral Service to be held on Friday from St. Teresa’s Church at 9:30am. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Barry’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
