OBITUARY
Audrey Wakeham
September 20, 1920 – November 16, 2018
Eileen passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 16 at the age of 98 at Victoria General Hospital. Much loved wife of 66 years to Raymond Wakeham and a cherished mom to Bonni & Bill (Bennett), Doreen & Rick (Harvey) and Hugh & Kevin. « Grams » will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Tyler & Stacie, Chad & Trisha, Angela & Corey, Brooke & Brent and Lisa & Jered, as well as 11 great grandchildren and many special friends. Eileen was pre-deceased by her husband Raymond and sisters Dorothy & Betty. She enjoyed her 20 years working at Woodwards and retired to Sidney in 1990 where she led a vibrant social life. She fiercely loved her family and was a loyal friend. She loved laughing, dancing, playing cards, reading and enjoying life to the fullest. She was a committed member of the St. Andrews Anglican church congregation for many years.
We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. We think of you in silence, we often speak your name. Now all we have is memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we’ll never part. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our heart.
