In Loving Memory of
Arnold, beloved husband of Rose Neumann passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the age of 86 years.
Arnold will lovingly be remembered by his five children: Jeffrey (Candace), Janice (Dwayne) Schmitz, Gerald (Jessie), Jennifer (Francis) Moffat and Jason (Tricia); grandchildren Heather (Les) Schneider, Jesse, Tessa, Declan, Tait, Cooper, Jordyn, Rebecca and Lucas; great grandchildren Brock and Austin; sister Heddy Gross; brother Adolph; as well as several siblings-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Arnold was predeceased by his parents Ignatius and Magdalena; sister Elizabeth; and brother Paul.
Arnold was born on August 28, 1931 near Spring Valley, SK.
He moved to Moose Jaw, SK and then to Regina where he was employed for many years as a transport driver with Motorways. He earned many safe driving awards.
Arnold was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Holy Child Parish in Regina for many years. His faith was a very important part of his life. It was reflected in his enduring love of family, friends and his many acts of charity and stewardship of the land.
Arnold spent many happy and peaceful days relaxing with Rose at their cottage at Pasqua Lake where he loved visiting with family and friends. He also enjoyed tending to the yard, fishing and bird watching.
VIGIL PRAYERS will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, 2636 7th Avenue East, Regina, SK on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
Donations in memory of Arnold may be made to the Regina Palliative Care and Bereavement Centre, #200 – 2150 Scarth Street, Regina, SK S4P 2H7.
