Ardith Rita Fenton
Ardith R. Fenton, 89 of The Briarlea,
Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, January,
19, 2018. Born in Beaver Brooke, Albert Co., she was the daughter of
the late Ronald and Kathleen (Kent)
Teahan.
Ardith
retired from the Federal Government with 17 years service.
She was a member of St. Augustine’s CWL and enjoyed playing
bridge.
Ardith
will be sadly missed by her children, Paul (Natalie) Fenton of
Montreal, PQ, Kathy LeBlanc (Don) of Grand-Barachois and Craig Fenton
of Moncton; grandchildren, Meaghan Fenton, Katie Myer (Chris), Matthew
LeBlanc (Ashley), Jillian Warren (Charles) and Lindsay Fenton; great
grandchildren, Owen Fenton, Noah and Oliver Myer, Henry and Ethan
Warren; sisters, Loretta Leger (late Raymond) and Dora Ryan (late
Edward); sister in law, Shirley Teahan.
In
addition to her parents, Ardith was predeceased by her husband,
Clement (1997); sisters, Helena Teahan and Marion Savard; brothers,
Gerald and Oram.
Visitation
will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton on
Monday, January 22, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to
celebrate and honour Ardith’s life will be held from
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11:00 am
with Rev. Charles Broderick presiding. Reception to be held
in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
Interment to be held in Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Hill,
NB later in the spring.
