Obituary of Antonio Gallo
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at L.H.S.C-Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of 70 years to Donatina. Father of Maria (Mike) and Dan (Gina). Loving grandfather of Mina (Randy), Nadina (Scott), Anthony and Adriana. Great-grandfather of Julian, Teadora, Mary, Sara and Edwin. Survived by siblings Bambina (late Antonio), Michele (late Filomena), Carmine (late Rosaria). Predeceased by siblings Carmela (Salvatore), Francesco (Pasqualina), Addolorata (Antonio) and Adelina (Michele). Brother-in-law of the late Immacolata (late Guiseppe), Guiseppe (late Incoronata) and Maria (late Salvatore). Antonio is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Europe. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Paul Dulay and the wonderful staff at Victoria Hospital for their tremendous care and compassion. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St at King St, on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 o’clock and 7 to 9 o’clock. Prayers at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle St, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10 o’clock. Interment to follow in St Peter’s Cemetery – Holy Family Mausoleum. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association or St Mary’s Church Restoration Fund.
