ANTHONY DALE GREENE (Tony) With his family by his side, Anthony Greene peacefully passed away on Friday, January 26th, 2018 at the Health Sciences Centre. Anthony was born October 13th, 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Anthony survived by his six children: Tony Jr (Jamie), Angelica, Irene (Jeremy), Julie (Logan), Chianne (Justin), and Anthony Daniels. Sister: Loretta Green-Ross. Grandchildren: Alyssa, Jordan, Brooklynn, Jazz Lynn, Marie, Tomisina, Allyanne, and Mason. Nieces: Shirley. Nephews: Ivan, Dominic, Silas. Aunties: Isabel (Roger), Lena, Darlene (Jeff), Lydia (Glenn), Margaret (Eric), Geraldine (Mervin), Genevieve, and Velma (Jason), along with close cousin: Emil (Shelia) and numerous cousins and friends. Anthony was predeceased by mother Irene Victoria Greene (Ivy), grandmother Susan Cowley née Green, step-dad Charles Orvis. Tony was known as hard-working, caring, kind-hearted man. He had so much love for everyone he surrounded himself with. Tony was always there when you needed him to be, and no matter what he was the kind of person you had no hesitation to look up to. Traditional ceremony will be held Saturday, February the 3rd from 7pm to 11pm at 10-1111 Logan Avenue, Eternal Grace Funerals. Cremation to follow. Active pallbearers will be Brennon Green, Taryl Green, Ivan Green, Tony McKay, Edwin Ducharme, and Douglas Dennett. Tony’s family wants to give special thanks to the Health Sciences Centre, Eternal Grace Funerals, Bloodvein, family and friends.
