Angus Lesley « John » Gibson
1931-2018
Angus Lesley « John » Gibson – age 87, of
Renous, New Brunswick, previously of Kentville, passed away on
September 28, 2018, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in Centreville, he was a son of the late Leander and Lucy (Viner)
Gibson. He is survived by daughters, Valerie, Jacqueline, Vonnie,
Phyllistein and Lisa; sons, Raymond, James, Richard
« Ricky », Dean and Stacy; 20 grandchildren; sisters,
Leah Gibson, Judy Ryman, Bernice Gomes and Sylvia MacPhee;
brothers, Wilfred, Wayne and Carl. Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by daughters, Paulette and Beverly; son, Claudie; sisters,
Isabelle Gibson, Shirley Johnson, Maude Kelsie, Geraldine States,
Muriel Fletcher; brothers, Eugene, Douglas and John
« Avon ». Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on
Friday, October 12, 2018 with a Royal Canadian Legion Service to be
held at 6:00 p.m. in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where a
funeral service and reception will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday,
October 13, 2018, Reverend Stephen Gough and Reverend Galvin Simmonds
officiating. Burial will take place in the Canard Burial Ground,
Canard. Donations in memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion
or the Kentville Lions Club. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted
to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
