Alice Dreher
June 1, 1935 – October 5, 2018
DREHER, Alice. June 1, 1935 – October 5, 2018 .Alice passed away peacefully on October 5, 2018 at the age of 83. She was born in Poland and immigrated with her family to Kelowna in 1953. Alice is predeceased by her loving husband Hermann Dreher in 2005 and parents Alma and Wilhelm Hein. She will be forever loved and remembered by her children Sig (Lea) Dreher of Kelowna, Sonja (Peter) Rudy of Kelowna, and John (Joan) Dreher of Kelowna. Also, by five grandchildren Jennifer (Mark) Woodward, Allison (Cam) Barr, Michael (Courtenay) Rudy, David Dreher (Tia Franiel), Michelle (Brayden) Cridland; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Further cherishing her memory are her siblings, Ruth Beger, Richard Hein, Karl (Dorothy) Hein, and Erika Romey. Alice was a loving wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. Alice had a positive outlook on life and seldom complained, even when life was difficult. She was a great blessing to all and will be dearly missed. The family thanks Sun Pointe Village staff for their compassion and wonderful care of Mom. At Alice’s request there will be no service.
