Passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Northumberland Hills Hospital at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late George for 61 years. Loving mother of Gary Oliver (Dawn) of Cobourg, Mary Jean VanDorp (Bill) of Port Hope and Faye Gaudet (Pat) of Cobourg. Predeceased by her daughter Connie Oliver. Proud grandmother of Kyle (Kristen), Carly (Jon), Jordan, Rachel Dyson (Ted), Chad VanDorp (Ashley), Jared VanDorp (Cassie), Adrian (Rebecca) and Aaron Gaudet. Cherished great grandmother of Taiten, Tucker, Tessa Dyson, Ryder, Hudson VanDorp, Zane Lehman. Daughter of the late Robert and Mary Johnson. Sister of Martin (Marion) Johnson, Lynda (Lloyd) Parsons and the late Madeline Woodcock. She will be sadly missed by Cathy Oliver and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King Street East, Cobourg on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will take place in the chapel on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment Verulam Cemetery on Saturday at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
