South Tetagouche, NB – Mrs.
Yvette Roy, 79, wife of Viateur Roy, of South Tetagouche, passed away
on Saturday April 1, 2017, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst,
after a lenghtly illness.
Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the
daughter of the late Hyacinthe and Lucienne (Godin) Roy and the
adopted daughter at the age of 3 years old to the late Lawrence and
Marie Rose Boudreau.
Besides he beloved husband, she is
survived by one daughter, Nanette Berthelot (Gilles) of
Bathurst. Three sons: Jacques Roy (Mariette), Hyacinthe Roy
(Madeleine) and David Roy (Stéphanie) all of
Bathurst.
Six cherished grandchildren: Annik,
Valérie, Tania, Sonia, Jérémie and
Shanie.
One sister, Lorraine Gagné
(Claude) of Québec, QC.
Two brothers: Ernest Roy
(Aurore) of Tremblay and Hyacinthe Roy (Roselba) of Saint
John. Several nieces and
nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a brother,
Georges.
The family will receive relatives at
Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford, on Tuesday 7 to
9 and Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral, Funeral Mass will
be celebrated on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 4 p.m. from the Our Lady
of the Rosary Church, Bathurst. Donations in memory of
Yvette may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity
of the donors choice.
