Winston Arthur Randell
Winston Arthur Randell, resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Little Burnt Bay, NL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 70 years.
He leaves to mourn, with precious, loving memories, his wife Judith (Hodder-Hackett) and his two precious fur babies Maggie and Rozie; children: Welmore (Paula), Winnette (David) Livingstone, Wade (Cavill) and Waylon (Lauren); step-children: Wade Hackett, Kimberley (Norman) Day, Lisa (Jamie) White, and Lori (Curtis) London; grandchildren: Nicholas, Joshua and Jaxon Randell, Collin and Rowan Livingstone, Zachary, Logan and Matthew Randell, Talen and Emma Randell, Blake and Parker Day, Alex, Brittany and Brooke White, and Lily, Kypten and Cole London; sisters and brothers: Shirley Harbin, Barbara White, Janet (Holly) Thomson, Cassandra (Glen) Eveleigh, Queen (Calvin) White, Trixie White, Hazel (Martin) Gettler, Welmore (Shirley) Randell, Andy (Bonnie) Randell, Cluny (Trudy) Randell, Betty Jenkins (Todd) and Denise Bowes; step-sister and brothers: Shirley Khanna, Frances (David) Bishop, and Leo (Yvonne) Hodder; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many friends and acquaintances in Alberta and Newfoundland. He will be greatly missed.
Winston was predeceased by his parents Mildred and Arthur Randell, sister Helen Wareham and infant sister Bernice.
Cremation has taken place as per Winston’s wishes and a Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 10:00am at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.). Burial will take place at a later date in Little Burnt Bay, NL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his wife Judith or to your local SPCA.
