Obituary of William Cumben
It is with great sadness the family of William Thomas Cumben of Grand Bank announces his passing at Blue Crest Nursing Home Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the age of 82 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 59 years Beatrice Meta Cumben; son Tom (Della) of Grand Bank; daughter Doris (Jerry) of Too Good Arm; grandchildren Kimberley (Jordan) of Brooks, AB and Michael (Gina) of St. John’s; great grandchildren Hunter and Rylee; special fur baby Tucker; sisters Freda (Norm) of Grand Bank and Sarah of Gander; sisters-in-law Julia (Jake) of Grand Bank, Phyllis (Ray) of Marystown, Edna (Ern) of Frenchmen’s Cove and Eloise of Winterland; brother-in-law Lorne (Ann) of Winterland; residents and staff of Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Resting at Salvation Army Citadel tonight, December 18th at 7PM Family Only.
Public Visitation Tuesday 1-4PM and 7-9PM.
Funeral Service to take place from Salvation Army Citadel, Wednesday, December 20th at 2PM with interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank.
Donations in his memory may be made to Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank.
No flowers by requested.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
