William Shedney – 2017

On January 17, 2017, William Shedney of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 78 years.
William is survived by his two sons and one daughter, Dolores, Gary (Laurie) and Glen (Nicole); three grandchildren, Ryan (Kayla), Colby and Jewels; great-grandson, Cooper and sister, Mary (Mike) Gordey. Predeceased by his wife, Wasy; and parents, John and Rose.
Funeral Service Saturday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the Smoky Lake Ukrainian National Hall, 107 Willow Creek Street, Smoky Lake. Archimandrite Gerasim Power officiating with interment in Holy Trinity Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to the University Hospital Foundation – The Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, Room 2A9.006, 8440 – 112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7.
