Obituary of William Lawson
Lawson: William “Bill” a resident of R.R.#2 Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the age of 81. Born in Blenheim, son of the late William Sr. and Margaret (Humphreys) Lawson. Beloved husband of Pat Lawson. Loving step-father of David Thompson (Cecile), Linda Caouette (Denis), Bonnie Brown (Mac), Pam Prangley (Murray), Patty Elmore, Jim Thompson (Sandra), Ken Thompson (Terry). Sadly missed by 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Nancy Kominek, Tom Lawson (Norma), Margaret Lassaline (Tom), and Harry Lawson (Chrisie). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. The Lawson family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The IOOF Lodge # 196 Florence will hold a Memorial Service on Friday evening at 6:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment in Shetland Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrew’s Residence, Chatham or the Faith Trinity United Church (Shetland) would be appreciated.
