Obituary of William Hartman
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the age of 89 of age related illness.
Beloved husband of Doris. Loving father of Mary Lou Huebner (Peter), Arlene Meyer (Greg), David Hartman (Vicki), Karen Doyle (Jim), Heather Demaiter (Leon), Luke Hartman (Wendy), and Stephen Hartman (Cindy). Special grandfather of Alexandra Huebner, and Natalie Huebner (Nate, fiancé), Chad Meyer (Kim), Nicholas Meyer, Amelie, Jonathan, and Christian Hartman, Patrick Doyle (Courtney), Matthew Doyle (Alyssa), Bradley Doyle (Lauren), Michael Demaiter (Jennifer), Gerard Demaiter (Sarah), William, Stephen, and Ann Demaiter, and Liam and Mitchell Hartman. Great-grandfather of Cody, Kara, Benjamin, Amelia, Bryson, and Christian.
Survived by sisters: Rosemary Woelfle (Con), Betty Jane Forwell (Ed) and Lou Ann Podmore (John).
Predeceased by granddaughter Ashley Meyer (2006) and sisters: Connie Gordon, Patricia Browne, and Gloria Ottman.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Bill with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:30 p.m. following the visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Clement R.C. Church, 3619 Lobsinger Line, St. Clements. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Avenue East, Waterloo, immediately following the mass with a reception to follow at the Golf Steak House, 598 Lancaster St., W. Kitchener.
