William Willie Vaughn Rawline – 1940-2017

William “Willie” Vaughn Rawline
1940-2017
William “Willie” Vaughn Rawline, 77,
of Hillsborough, passed away on August 19th, 2017 at
the Moncton City Hospital with his family by his
side.
He was born in Hillsborough on July 14th,
1940, the son of the late Lloyd and Nora
(Steeves) Rawline.
Willie was a jack of all trades. He worked many years at
Commercial Equipment in Moncton and at
the Hillsborough Service Center. He also worked for
the Hillsborough Arena doing whichever job that
needed to be done. He was the Deputy Chief for
the Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Department for many
years and was very proud to receive his award for his dedication to
the Fire Department for over 50 years. He enjoyed going to
the
Irving in Hillsborough and Tim Hortons in Riverview
every time he could for a coffee and
to have some laughs with his friends. Willie was the type of
guy who would help anyone who needed a hand. He will be
remembered for his kind and caring ways. Willie was the loving husband
of Donna (Rogers) and they were well known for their hospitality and
always looked forward to visits from family and friends. Willie and
Donna cherished all the moments they had together and have finally
been reunited once again.
He will be deeply missed by his brother
Gilbert Rawline (Barbara) of Hillsborough;
sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Johnston (Douglas)
of Lakeville Corner,
Helen Beek (John) of
Fredericton;brother-in-law Sherman Gammon of New Hampshire;
his nieces Cheryl Keiver (Dana)
of Riverview, Tammy Cote (Derek) of New Hampshire, Carla
Johnston (Glenn) of Australia; his nephews
Scott Rawline (Rebecca) of Hillsborough,
Mark Johnston (Amanda) of Havelock, and Gregory Gammon of New
Hampshire. He will also be missed by several great nieces and nephews
and by all his extended family and many
friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his
beloved wife, Donna (2012); sister Lillian Gammon and nephew Kevin
Gammon both of New Hampshire.
Honouring Willie’s wishes A Celebration of His Life will be
held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 23rd at
2:00pm with Pastor Leonard Geldart, Rev. Jack Allen, and Rev.
Dean MacDonald officiating. Visitation will be held an hour
prior to the service. Following the service the family will be meeting
with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and for
refreshments at the funeral home. Internment will be held in
the Shenstone Cemetery, Shenstone,
NB.
In lieu of flowers donations to
the Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Department, or

appreciated.
