It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of
William (Bill) Terrance Sullivan of Woodman’s Point, N.B. on
September 8th, 2017 at the Saint John Regional
Hospital after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Born in
Saint John on September 8th, 1946, he was the

Howard (Lutie) Sullivan.
Bill was employed with Irving Paper for 35 years until his
retirement in 2001 and achieved his level 4 power engineering
certificate in 1997.
Bill had a great passion for the outdoors and sports,
especially, the Boston Red Sox and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He
enjoyed spending time at his camp in Kierstead Mountain, fishing the
waters of the NorEast brook and hunting. He had a special love for
harness racing, travelling throughout the Maritimes and was also a
horse owner. After retirement, Bill enjoyed spending time with his
best friend and companion his dog Nic. He also developed a keen
interest in geology.
As a young boy in the 1950’s, Bill was a member of Scouts
Canada and was the youngest scout in the Maritimes to achieve the
Queen’s Scout Award, which is the highest youth award achievable in
the scouting movement. He also served as an altar boy at St. Pius X
church and was very strong in his faith which helped him throughout
his final days.

John, sisters Jean Plagenz (Wally) of Barrie, Ontario and Barbara Vey
