Peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 79 years of age. Predeceased by parents Francis and Helen McDonough. Beloved husband of Shirley. Loving father of Frank and his wife Sue. Cherished grandfather of Adam, Natasha (Kerry) Fisk and Meredith (Thomas) Herr; great-grandfather of Declan Fisk. Survived by brother Harold and sisters Marg (Henry) Fasquel and Brenda (Willie) Despres. Predeceased by sisters Audrey and Georgina “Cookie”. Survived by sisters-in law Ruth (Alvin) Townsley, Eleanor (Bob) Robbins and by brother in law William (Anne) Orton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 12:00pm with visitation beginning one hour prior to service time. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery. Donations in William’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society
