MALCOLM
Mr. William (Bill) Malcolm age 60, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Bill started his radio career in Southern Ontario and moved to Thunder Bay where he worked at CJLB. In 1995 he moved to Dougall Media
as Radio Program Director/ Radio Personality for KIXX, HOT FM, The Thunder, CKPR, Energy 103, 104 and CFNO.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Norma (nee Kettering), his children Stephen Tennant and grandson Trent Tennant and the mother of Trent,
Cassie Kennedy, daughter Jennifer (Richard) Cramer, John Malcolm, Marlene Malcolm, and granddaughter Zoey.
Survived by his mother Rita Malcolm, father-in-law and mother-in-law Glen and Miriam Kettering. Brothers and sisters
Greg (Karen) Malcolm, Joyce Malcolm, Jim (Jennifer) Malcolm, Linda (Dan) Gregatto, brother-in-law Gord (Deb) Kettering, sisters-in-law
Sue Kettering, Glenna Kettering, brothers-in-law Warren (Lorna) Kettering, Jeff (Azure) Kinch, Scott Kinch, stepmother Patty (David) McCarthy,
and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his father Frank Malcolm, father-in-law Fred King, brother-in-law Don Kettering,
and brother-in-law Shawn Kinch.
Norma would like to thank the Hospice at Home Team, Dr. Bezanson, Aaron Medd, Gaby and Marilyn. Also a special thank you to Barb.
Private Interment.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the West Arthur Community Centre, 540 West Arthur Street, on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1 p.m. to
3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
