UNDERHILL, W. Kenneth
Ken Underhill of Bridgenorth passed away on November 28, 2016 at age 90 after a courageous battle with COPD and heart disease. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Homer) and parents Willie (Bill) Underhill and Lydia (Bear) Underhill, he was the father of Susan Williams (Andrew), Brian and Mark Underhill, grandfather of Scott, Jeffrey, Lori-Anne , and Gordon. Ken served in the RCN (Able Seaman) during WW II and was a member of the Peterborough Naval Association, a member of R.C. Legion, and a volunteer with the Bridgenorth Library. He enjoyed a long career at the Peterborough Examiner, retiring as a foreman in 1985. A private service was held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church on Friday December 2, 2016. Reverend Doug Woods officiating. Interment Bridgenorth Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL.
