Bassett, William Joseph December 17, 1943 – November 12, 2017
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s, Mercy Hospital, William Joseph Bassett, age 73 on November 12, 2017 in the presence of his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents George and Bridget Bassett and his sister Sheila.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, is his devoted and loving wife Virginia; three sons Peter, Michael, Billy (Alison); precious granddaughter Gabrielle; brothers George and Kevin; sisters June (Nick), Rosemary (Jim deceased), Catherine (Mike) and Betty as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant road on Tuesday, November 14 and Wednesday November 15 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Funeral Mass to take place from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist at a time to be announced.
Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in William’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
