After living a full, happy and satisfying life filled with love, William “Tinton” Tenasco passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by his loving parents Albert Tenasco Sr. and Lena Chalifoux, as well as his brother Sidney Tenasco, and his nephew Rahianes. His forever loving presence will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters: Suzanne Tenasco (Howard Decontie), Rene Tenasco (Brenda Odjick), Shirley Tenasco (Steve Garnsey), and Sheila Tenasco-Banerjee (Paul Banerjee); as well as his nieces and nephews Lori-Ann (Chris), Becky, Deborah, Lindsey, Trevor (Sophie), Jake (Pam), Albert (Sam) , Wabigonikwe (Kakwi), & Autumn; and great-nieces and nephews Pinàkwì, Nòkà, Asha, Phoenix, Sapphire & Juniper. Tinton will always be lovingly remembered for his love of music, his compassion for others, and his good-natured sense of humor.
The Tenasco family will receive condolences at the McConnery Funeral Home, on Friday May 5, from 2:00-5:00pm and 7:00-10:00pm, as well as Saturday May 6 from 9:00-11:00am immediately followed by the burial at the Kitigan Zibi Cemetary. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 217 McDougall Street, Maniwaki on Saturday, May 6 at 1:30pm. A meal will be served at the Kitigan Zibi Community Hall, 311 Fafard Street, Kitigan Zibi at 3:30pm. Everyone is welcome!
