Bill, a gentle gentleman, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital on March 8, 2017 after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Leukemia, and Bone Cancer. He will be deeply missed by his wife Shirley; two sons David and Stephen (Jill); four loving grandchildren Nicole, Mackenzie, Miranda, Vanessa, and dear brothers Gordon (Gwen) and Ron (Mary Anne). Predeceased by his first wife Marguerite (nee MacDonald). Visitation will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to your preferred charity.
