Long-time Brockville resident Ned Root died peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 with family by his side to thank him and wish him well. He is predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend, Juanita (2005), and survived by Bill and Rosemary (Cape Breton Island) and Dolwyn and Bob (Peterborough), six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Brockville at a later date. If desired, donations to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
