William Chipman – 2016

CHIPMAN, William “Bill” – Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, Bill Chipman, age 75 years. Predeceased by his parents: William & Marion Chipman; step-mother, May Mullins; parents-in-law: Jerry Lamkin and Lillian Pender; brother, Levi Chipman; nephews: Robert Chipman, Max Chipman and Cyril Lambert; nieces: Tammy Lambert and Wanda Lambert. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 52 years, Joan (nee Pender); children: Charlie, Cindy, Brian, Kevin (Stacey), Chris (Suzie), Billy, Joyce and Andy; grandchildren: Darrin, April, Stephen, Justin, Jordan, Patrick, Alicia, Marissa, Jessica, Chelsea, Chloe, Cassie, Ashley, Selena, Nicole, Johnathan and Jayden; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley (Jim) and Frances; sister-in-law, Aggie; life-long friends, Gordon “Buck” and Doreen “Dode” Newell; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, December 15, from 11am-4pm and 7-9pm, with cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Bill’s memory may be made the Kidney Foundation or to the Autism Society of NL.
