BULPIT – William “Bill”
On Monday August 14th, 2017 at the North Bay Regional Health Center, after a lengthy battle with cancer, in his 83rd year. Bill was born and raised in Trenton, Ontario, one of twelve children. He is survived by one sister Margaret and several nieces and nephews. Bill was married for 27 years to the love of his life Faith (Snoddon), who predeceased him this past December 2016. Bill was a soldier in the Salvation Army for more than 50 years and wore his uniform with great pride. For many years Bill made weekly visits to local pubs delivering the War Cry and providing a listening ear for those in need. Bill will be missed and forever loved by his family Dave, Nancy, Hannah, and Brenda. Bill is also remembered by his step daughters Mary Lynn Pugelj (Frank) and Susan Brown (Wilson) and their families. Heartfelt thanks to the nurses on C3 NBRHC who showed never ending kindness and compassion to Bill each and every day. Thank you to Major Bonita of the Salvation Army who spent many days and evenings sharing prayers at Bill’s bedside. Visitation at the Salvation Army Citadel, 134 McIntyre Street East, North Bay on Thursday August 17th from 10:00am until time for services at 11:00am. If desired donations in Bill’s memory to the North Bay Humane Society or the Salvation Army Food Bank will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
