It is with deep, and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Bill Curtis, who passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2017. Bill was born and raised in Guelph where he shared his time and energies on the strength and happiness of his family and friends. Never afraid to speak his mind, share a laugh or give someone in need the shirt off his back. He is the son of Mary Andrew (McCarvell) Curtis and William Joseph Curtis both deceased. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie; his daughter Elaine and son-in-law, Tony; grandchildren Curtis and
Carter, his son, William and daughter-in- law, Lorrie; grandchildren Isabella, and Jack; his sisters Mary Ann (deceased), Catherine Curtis, Margaret Pavia and
brother-in-law Mario, and Nancy Mellor and brother-in-law Douglas (deceased). Loving in-laws Doreen Elkerton, Brian Polderman, Don and Debbie Meagher, Ken and Marg Meagher, Brian and Donna Meagher and a host of nieces, nephews as well as life-long friends. The family asks that no flowers be sent.
Instead, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or the charity of your choice. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11:00am at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph.
