Obituary for William ARTHUR Oikle
Peacefully at the Perley & Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre on Saturday April 15, 2017. Art Oikle age 93 years. Loving husband of 65 years of Dorothy Oikle (Thorpe). Loved father of Flora O’Donnell (Tom), Katherine Sauve (Steve) and David Oikle. Predeceased by son William Oikle (1995). Much loved uncle of Susan Hasnain. Loving grandfather of Matthew (Denise), Andrew, David, Christine and Daniel and great grandfather of Evan. Predeceased by sister Ethelwyn and brothers John and Harry. Heart felt thank you to the staff of the Perley & Rideau Gatineau 1 North for their care for Art. Family and friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 150 Woodroffe Ave. (at Richmond) Ottawa on Friday April 21st from 6-8 p.m. and also Saturday April 22nd from 12:30 until time of Service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. A reception to follow. For those wishing to, donations to the Perley & Rideau Veterans’ Centre would be appreciated.
